The self-driving autonomous cars competition in San Francisco Bay Area has been ongoing with challenges and partnership efforts. It turns out Waymo, the Google self-driving project has been using Intel Corp. chips in a collaborating effort for advancement in the processing level. The Intel CEO, Brian Krzanich shared therein partnership has been in place since 2009 and will continue for autonomous vehicles. The Intel CEO revealed therein information before speaking at the TechCrunch in San Francisco and not sharing any partnership financial value. It's reported Intel Corp. is expanding their Silicon Valley research and development lab in San Jose during this month. Including more automaking partnership for collaborating efforts within the autonomous vehicles competition.
