BART EARTHQUAKE DRILL WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is having an earthquake safety drill for passengers and employees protection. The BART safety drill is to ensure all emergency systems are working appropriately during an earthquake. Because earthquakes do happen within San Francisco Bay Area, and protecting BART passengers and employees becomes more essential. The transit agency safety emergency drill will happen on Thursday, October 20, 2022 and the BART earthquake alert system will operate during therein daily routes. The BART trains will automatically slow down when therein alert system is triggered. The passengers will get a public awareness announcement regarding the earthquake and knowing what to do next for safety.
