BART TO HAVE RENEWABLE SOURCES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) system in San Francisco Bay Area will build clean power renewable resources. The BART Board of Directors approved a new policy that will guide future systematic energy sources for trains to environmentally operate. The local transit agencies in the Bay Area purchase their power energy from providers and PG&E to operate and function within each operation. The BART administration is setting new environmental goals to have 90% low and zero carbon emission by 2025 and 100% zero carbon sources by 2035. The Bay Area BART system goals would put it on track to exceed the current state renewable standards by 50% and saving our environment.

"We are committed to have 100% renewable electricity and taking cars off the road to help drive down greenhouse gas emissions," said Nick Josefowitz, BART Director. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
