The transbay tube for travelers across San Francisco Bay Area will shutdown effective today for repairs and updates for public safety. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) transbay tube will close today from the end of service time until Monday, August 3, 2015 morning - no service on Saturday and Sunday. BART transbay tube closure will also happen on September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2015 for more repairs and upgrades. Transit buses will be provided for commuters across the bay from San Francisco to Oakland especially working class people. As we posted previously, BART will provide optional transportation and encouraging people to stay home if possible over the weekend during closure time.
