The BATA (Bay Area Toll Authority) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area will be the honorary "Organization Of The Year" on Thursday, May 27, 2021. The BATA agency will be recognized with an award by CTF (California Transportation Foundation) during therein 32nd Annual Transportation Awards virtual event. The CTF agency is proud to announce top finalists within fourteen different categories of statewide transportation projects, and including some projects within San Francisco Bay Area. The CTF Annual Transportation Awards Program is made possible with many sponsoring companies, and all winners will be officially awarded during thereby virtual event. The BATA tolls collection was adjusted during the pandemic, and transitioning into electronic-tolls collection at seven state owned bridges in the Bay Area.
