The federal grant for Caltrain's electrification project has been delayed by FTA (Federal Transit Administration). The delayed FTA funding will endanger the full $1.98 billion project for Silicon Valley and most importantly will delay the project. The $647 million federal grant was earmarked for Caltrain to start the railway electrification project and start hiring contracting workers. The project work is schedule to start on March 1, 2017 as the deadline including electric elements from the manufacturing company. The Caltrain services provide transit transportation from San Jose to San Francisco and producing 14% of California's gross domestic product. The California congressional Republican delegation objected to the federal grant because they want to stop the HSR (High Speed Rail) Project from Los Angeles to San Francisco.
"There will be consequences if we don't meet the March 1 deadline, and jeopardizing the viability of the project moving forward," said Seamus Murphy, Caltrain Spokesperson. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
