The Caltrain transit agency in West Bay is extending commuting railway services contract in San Francisco Bay Area. The Caltrain Board of Directors approved therein rail services contract extension for TASI (Transit America Services Inc.) until June 2027. The Caltrain present contract with TASI is pending to expire in June 2022, and thereby extension will provide support for Caltrain's PCEP (Peninsula Corridor Electrification Project) transitional services alignment. Including railway operations with services maintenance, administrative and support services, dispatching, equipment with tracking safety elements, communications with signals, and stations construction support.
