The annual Caltrain holiday toy drive in West Bay Area has been a successful event considering the stormy weather! The Holiday Train collected approximately 1161 toys during local stops at West Bay stations, and 259 toys collected by SamTrans transit agency = 1420 total toys. The Caltrain Holiday Train made stops at local stations for toy collection and entertainment during the event. The Caltrain administration shared their thankful regards to supporting partnership agencies and sponsorship. Including local community support and volunteers for their help during the holiday toy drive. The holiday toys will be donated to Salvation Army's Toy & Joy Program and U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. These two non-profit organizations will help bring some joy for children and families in need during the holidays!
