CALTRAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The Caltrain Board of Directors approved $82.9 million contract for an improvement project in collaboration with the City of San Mateo. The construction contractual amount will be awarded to Shimmick & Disney Joint Venture company for the project to make it happen during the Fall season 2017. The Caltrain improvement project will be for two and a half years with a new elevated Hillsdale Station along with updated amenities. The project effort is to improve safety for passengers and reducing traffic congestion within the regional area. The Caltrain project costs $180 million through collaborative funds from state and local municipal funding including Measure-A. The Hillsdale Station will be closed for approximately 5 months during the developmental process in early 2019 - please visit www.caltrain.com/25thGS for more information.

"The project is good but I don't think it going to help with local traffic congestion because it's just many drivers on the road," said Tim Henderson, local commuter in San Mateo County. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
