CALTRAIN PROPOSING FARE INCREASE IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The Caltrain administration is requesting public input on the proposal to increase transit fares and other services within San Francisco Bay Area. The Caltrain transit is costing more to operate accordingly and maintaining an aging diesel system without dedicated funding. It's operating with cost-effective ways and depending on passengers and membership agencies for funding support to keep the system operating.
