A joint development project for Highway 101 and 84 Interchange Improvement Project in the Peninsula within San Francisco Bay Area is pending for implementation. The City of Redwood City and San Mateo Country Transportation Authority is proposing the project to ease vehicular traffic along identified roadways. The project will add lanes and widen them as necessary, and reconstruct highway ramps to interchange accordingly without problems. Bicycle lanes and pedestrian lanes will become part of the project, and completed project is expected to ease traffic congestion along Highway 101 and 84. The EIR (Environmental Impact Report) will become part of discussions during an Open House meeting on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6-8 PM at City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California.
