FEDERAL FUNDING FOR SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA TRANSIT PROJECT

The public transit project in San Francisco is receiving $75 million from U.S. Department of Transportation to help with congestion roadways in the city. The BRT ((Bus Rapid Transit) project along Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco is already underway after the approval process and will cost $223 million to complete. The other BRT transit project funds will be coming from local, state, and federal resources to fully complete it and ready for people. The project will install dedicated transit bus lanes and stops along Van Ness Avenue, allowing transit buses to run efficiently with less traveling time for passengers. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) officials estimate construction should be completed by 2020 and rapid transit system ready for operation.

"The new project will provide connections to muni light rail systems and providing access to jobs, and healthy care for local communities and throughout San Francisco Bay Area," said Anthony Foxx, U.S. Transportation Secretary. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
