HIGH SPEED RAIL COMPETITION WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The California High Speed Rail (HSR) competition is presently in place for train developmental process including a bidding process for the HSR contract. The HSR trains will have to be developed with safety and healthy measures in place accordingly during trains manufacturing development by contracted agency. The California HSR Authority Board shared interest with train manufacturing agencies from Japan, China, France, Germany, and South Korea. Some train manufacturing agencies may not have experience in high-speed train development, and China appears to be the top contender at this point of competition. The SunGroup USA agency is working with a train development agency in China to seek a local manufacturing location in Oakland, California.
