INCREASING PARKING FEES AT BART IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The new year is starting off with how BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) will try to balance it's financial budget including improvements and other transportation budgetary elements. Considering a recently approved new union contract for union workers including health care plans and pay raise because it was one of the differing aspect of negotiations. Therefore, some BART locations will increase there parking fees starting sometime this month and proposing to start on January 20th. A mass transit study for improvement is planning to happen and awards will be granted sometime in February 2015, and BART will contribute some financial support along with other agencies for the study.
