LOCAL TRANSIT AGENCIES REQUEST IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The vehicular traffic congestion in San Francisco Bay Area continues and transit agencies are requesting state data for Uber and Lyft car-sharing companies. A local San Francisco legislature is drafting a legislation to request data from CPUC (California Public Utilities Commission) for traffic congestion resolutions. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) sent a letter to state regulators in December 2016 identifying 45,000 Uber and Lyft vehicles are driving in San Francisco. Including Uber and Lyft vehicles have added to bad traffic congestion in the city and creating local unhealthy emission issues for the environment. A recent transportation research study by consultant Bruce Schaller finds service by Uber and Lyft increased 600 million vehicle traveling miles in New York city.

"Asking for relevant data information is good because it helps inform us in how to relieve traffic congestion," said Ed Lee, Mayor, City of San Francisco. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
