The Lyft Inc. ride-sharing company announced their efforts to develop self-driving autonomous cars in San Francisco Bay Area. The company team is expecting to grow and planning to have approximately several hundred employees by the end of 2018. The company will start developing autonomous vehicle technology in their new office in Palo Alto, and launching earlier this year the open data platform. The Lyft team will be working along with Alphabet Inc. and the Waymo project regarding self-driving car developmental projects. The Lyft company autonomous team is well in line to build self-driving cars technology collaborating with business partnership. The autonomous self-driving cars competition in the Bay Area is getting more competitive with various technology teams in Silicon Valley.
"The development of its own technology will be the core for Lyft's business, and 10% of the company's engineering team is already committed to the effort," said Luc Vincent, Vice-President of Engineering. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
