The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) transportation projects are starting to lineup for the Bay Area because state bridge toll increase is heading for the ballot. That means people have to vote for approval or disapproval of regional bridge tolls increase during upcoming elections. Therein ballot measure is to raise money for Bay Area transportation improvement projects, it's similar to the $1 toll increase in 1988 and 2004. The new BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) extension project in Warm Springs within Southern Fremont station was opened on Saturday for public services. The Marin County Transportation Authority board have a list of local and regional transit improvement projects. Including a new transit center in downtown San Rafael with new connection for Highway-101 to Interstate Highway-580. These potential local and/or regional transportation projects will be going through the procedural process for consideration and implementation.
