MORE CALTRANS ROADWAY PROJECT CLOSURES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

As transportation funding for state roadways and highways continue to decrease for improvement projects throughout the State of California, Caltrans have issued traffic advisory for more road closures because of roadway projects. The state routing roadway 128 within Sonoma County is scheduled to close today at 11 PM - 5 AM until Thursday, for a retaining wall project and will close again on Sunday, August 30 to Thursday, September 3. No work is scheduled over Labor Day holiday weekend and scheduled to close again on Tuesday, September 8 to Thursday, September 10, 2015. The Caltrans improvement roadway project is scheduled to complete during the middle of October if everything works out well with weathering conditions. Encouraging drivers to use alternate routes within the area to avoid more traffic congestion especially working class people.
