The airport is increasing more passengers and expecting more airlines during this year for tourists and visitors. The Sonoma County Airport (STS) celebrates its 10th anniversary milestone of airline services with Alaska Airlines. The local STS airport is only with a 15,000 square foot terminal with Alaska Airlines, including United Airlines and Sun Country Airlines to begin services in June and August 2017. The United Airlines announced 3 nonstop daily flights to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) starting June 8, 2017. The Sun Country Airlines announced seasonal nonstop flights to Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota (MSP) airport starting August 24, 2017. The local STS airport has been adding flights and increasing passengers 75% since the arrival of Alaska Airlines during 2007.
