MTC PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is partnering with government agencies to help highway traffic. The MTC agency partners with CHP (California Highway Patrol) and Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) to ease traffic on local highways statewide. The partnership services provide emergency assistance for drivers on the highway, and thereby FSP (Freeway Service Patrol) is free of charge. The partnership FSP program operators provided more than 88,000 highway drivers assistance during 2020, and continues to help more drivers on the highway when necessary. The MTC, CHP, and Caltrans partnership program helps reduce fuel usage on highways, and saving our local environment for our families and children.
