The closure of Doyle Drive over this past weekend for construction was a successful endeavor and completed the project ahead of schedule time. As we posted previously about the closure for construction project upgrades of Doyle Drive and Northern Waterfront transformation. During Sunday evening at 9 PM the project crew members were able to successfully and safely switched traffic cars over, to newly transformed Doyle Drive without problems and drivers enjoying state-of-the-art new roadway! This successful project is a milestone landmark for San Francisco Northern Waterfront and Presidio Parkway. Northbound and Southbound Highway 101 is totally separated with new exit and roadway connections to Highway 1 as well. Including wider lanes with safety shoulders as well as pedestrian and bicycle routes from the main post to the waterfront area.
