The muni transit system in San Francisco is going through development planning phases for services improvement for passengers. Part of improvement planning is having a training facility, and SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Training Agency) administrators is proposing to have a facility costing $2.4 million annually. SFMTA administrators presented their proposal to Budget Committee members during a public hearing yesterday. They will continue their presentation on March 9, 2016 because more critical information is requested by committee members. SFMTA rents training facilities to train new muni driving operators for $155,000 annually, and proposal new training site is located in South San Francisco. The training facility location is 11 miles from SFMTA Headquarters in San Francisco on Van Ness Avenue, and leasing the new facility may last up to 9.5 years for training muni operators.
"It's a critical need for the training facility, and the agency is overhauling muni transit systems for services improvement," said John Haley, SFMTA Operations Director. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
