NEW TRANSPORTATION SAFETY LAWS FOR SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The new year 2016 starts with new state laws to ensure transportation elements within State of California are secured to protect people. A total of 807 new state laws are in place effective January 1, 2016, and some laws are now changed for drivers and bicyclists protection. Therefore, drivers and bicyclists are prohibited from wearing both earbuds/earplugs on both ears while operating a car or riding a bicycle. The driver or bicyclist should have one ear open for surrounding sounds, especially emergency vehicles, while driving and/or operating a bicycle on the road. Some people are saying, "this legislation should help protect more people including pedestrians."

"This law is good because it's kind of crazy out there, and pedestrians, people in cars, and bicycles - don't put two headphones in," said Victoria Lowry, a local bike messenger delivering for shelters. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
