The traffic in San Francisco Bay Area along Highway-17 will be stalled today because of landscaping, and Highway-4 because of ongoing highway widening project. The vegetation landscaping project in Santa Clara County will require to close one lane on Highway-17, and Caltrans administration is warning drivers to be careful and expect delays. The landscaping project includes trimming trees and should go through the first part of this week until Thursday for completion. The lane widening project along Highway-4 in Antioch continues to widen highway lanes going both eastbound and westbound directions. The highway project within Contra Costa County will go through Summer-time months including local roadway improvement projects.
