POSITIVE ELECTION RESULTS FOR TRANSPORTATION IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The election results for public transportation projects received positive supportive outcomes from San Francisco Bay Area voters yesterday. The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Measure RR successfully passed yesterday with 70.86% for BART improvement projects for working class people. The people approved $3.5 billion bond measure funding for BART services within San Francisco Bay Area to be reliable with safe and healthy services. The 44 year old BART system needs improvement projects for dependable services serving Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco counties. Including extension BART projects within Silicon Valley and Santa Clara County for working class people.

"We are grateful to all Bay Area voters for supporting the bond measure and commitment to BART services infrastructure," said Tom Radulovich, President, BART Board of Directors.
