The red lanes improvement project in San Francisco is showing more safety benefits for pedestrians and drivers being cautious on the street. An independent study findings were based on SFMTA's (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) improvement project to save pedestrians and bicyclists including traffic control. The red bus lanes along Mission District had many red-hot debates and finding out more positive benefits versus negative. The study findings by Zendrive shows excessive driving speeding by cars on Mission Street was reduced by 36% , aggressive acceleration reduced by 30%, and hard braking by 21%. The findings also shows how it's safe and beneficial for 67,000 daily riders on muni buses on red-carpet lanes in San Francisco.
