REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLANS IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The local regional transportation officials in San Francisco Bay Area have plans for next several years as short-term solutions for traffic congestion. Hopefully it will resolve traffic issues on highways and roadways surrounding the Bay Area, and saving our local natural environment for families and children. The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) is spending $2.5 million for WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) to maintain commuter services in Alameda, Oakland, and Vallejo, California. The ferry services have recorded 10,000 riders each day with 30% increase as of June last year. MTC is also contributing $7 million to convert part of West Grand Avenue in Oakland to a high-occupancy and bus only lane approaching the Bay Bridge.

"We are trying to effectively do some easy things that we know works and want to make it permanent," said Randy Rentschler, MTC Director of Legislation & Public Affairs. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
