RELEASED PLAN BAY AREA 2040 REPORT IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) staffing released a modified proposal for the draft Plan Bay Area 2040 report, and the final EIR (Environmental Impact Report) for consideration. The assessment report will be considered during the MTC and ABAG (Association of Bay Area Governments) joint meeting on Friday, July 14, 2017. The MTC and ABAG members are scheduled to vote on the final Plan Bay Area 2040 and EIR report during their joint meeting on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. The Plan Bay Area 2040 is a long-term transportation guide through the year 2040 within San Francisco Bay Area aligned with California legislation SB375 (Senate Bill). Developing regional sustainable community strategies for future population growth, and transportation reducing greenhouse gas emissions for cars and saving our natural environment.
