SAFETY STREET ACT LEGISLATION IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The California State Assembly legislation for safety streets in San Francisco and San Jose has passed the first committee. The AB342 (Assembly Bill-342) was introduced by Assemblymember David Chiu, D-San Francisco representative to provide safety streets in the Bay Area. When therein legislation is fully approved through the procedural process and signed into law, it will provide a five-year pilot project to use automated cameras for safety measures. The Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) approach is to help local law enforcement agencies prevent speeding cars within local communities. The AB342 legislation will provide automated speed cameras to enforce posted local speed limit zones, and cars traveling more than 10 miles will be photographed.

"The legislation vote marks a critical step towards the city Vision Zero, and California elected leaders can put this life saving tool to work," said Cathy DeLuca, Interim Executive Director, Walk San Francisco. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
