SAFETY STREETS CROSSING GUARDS FOR SAN FRANCISCO KIDS IN SCHOOL

Transporting kids to and from local schools can become a challenge for parents and school administration for San Francisco Bay Area. Some local schools in San Francisco Bay Area are back in session yesterday on Monday, and some schools are looking at "safety for kids" as number one priority. San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is working closely with local agencies to ensure school kids are safe, and hired more crossing guards personnel to assist kids while crossing streets. San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is working closely with SFUSD and provides School Crossing Guard Program to help, including electronic visual signs for drivers and awareness. Hoping electronic signs around local schools in San Francisco will help drivers slow down, and reminding them that school is open and students with parents are crossing streets.
