The party people on New Year's Eve will get free bus rides by AC Transit across the bay, starting at 8 PM until 5 AM on New Year's Day. AC Transit issued a press release to share with people and communities, with an effort of safely transporting passengers during the New Year's Eve activities. Buses will operate a normal weekday schedule on Thursday and Sunday's schedule on Friday - New Year's Day. It's an effort as a way of encouraging people to leave their cars at home and allow alternative safe transportation. Bus operators were also sharing this information with passengers and handing out relevant materials for awareness, and wishing a safe and Happy New Year!
