SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA - BART REDUCING EARLY BIRD SERVICES

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area will reduce Early Bird Express services effective Sunday, June 16, 2024. The BART services agency provides Early Bird Express bus services for traveling passengers during weekdays, and will reduce thereby services with transit bus partnership services. Including transit bus services with SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency), AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District, and SamTrans (San Mateo County Transit District). The identified service changes will happen because of low ridership, lack of service funding, as well as limited operational drivers.
