SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA - BART SCHEDULES UPDATE

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is changing schedules for passengers effective Monday, January 13, 2025. To install a new train control system for BART routing services, and scheduling changes will be minor with few minutes difference. The BART current train control system is due for therein replacement, and repair crews will install a new modernized communications train control system. The BART agency is working closely with all regional Bay Area transit agencies, and to ensure traveling passengers are getting to their destinations efficiently. The installation of thereby new CBTC (Communications Based Train Control) system for BART trains will improve transit services for passengers in the Bay Area.
