The City of Palo Alto council members are uncertain about supporting a sales tax for Caltrain with state legislation. The Palo Alto Council is putting off their voting support for Caltrain state legislation bill, because of not having a voice on the Caltrain board with a representative. The council members will revisit therein sales tax matter for Caltrain and have a decision before SB797 (Senate Bill 797) state legislation deadline. The Palo Alto Council feels a lack of representation on Caltrain's board and VTA (Valley Transportation Authority). The Caltrain and VTA transit agencies provide services throughout Santa Clara County, and council members may resist and/or may not support the Caltrain sales tax.
"It's frustrating when we have almost no power in San Jose and same on Caltrain, because you can't separate governance and funding allocation," said Liz Kniss, Vice Mayor, City of Palo Alto. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
