The CTC (California Transportation Commission) state agency has approved $1 billion investment for therein Transportation Infrastructure in the Bay Area and statewide. The CTC funding allocation will provide Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) with necessary resources to solve mobility challenges statewide. Including projects to help with energy restoration and/or protection, as well as projects to help bicycle riders and pedestrians. The identified funding will help with local infrastructure projects in the Bay Area, and projects in other statewide counties and municipal communities. The CTC funding allocation includes federal and state supportive funds for thereby statewide transportation infrastructure project developments. The federal funds are aligned with therein IIJA (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act), and state funds aligned with SB1 (Senate Bill 1).
