The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is celebrating International Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Week 2024! The MTC agency is partnering with local Bay Area schools to celebrate thereby safe routes to schools all week from Monday, October 7, 2024 to Friday, October 11, 2024. The partnership project is having different activities in the Bay Area for International Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Week. There will be more activities on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 with therein actual celebration day in the Bay Area! The MTC agency and nine regional counties in San Francisco Bay Area have Safe Routes to School programs for our children and families. The Bay Area community partnership project last year recorded 55% of people used walking, biking, and rolling their way to school safely.
