SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA - MTC FUNDING ADVOCACY

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is partnering with a local agency for funding advocacy. The MTC is partnering with ABAG (Association of Bay Area Governments) to advocate for state and/or federal funding for transportation and housing in the Bay Area. The MTC/ABAG advocacy partnership effort is aligned with thereby 2024 Joint Advocacy Program objective goals. To have accessible funding resources and support for transportation and housing in the Bay Area, and consistent with therein Plan Bay Area 2050 guidelines. Including state legislation for funding to support regional transportation and housing needs in the Bay Area, and as well as having transportation systems that are equitable and friendly for families and children. The MTC/ABAG partnership agencies will work closely with local community agencies, and building consensus to maintain transit services - visit www.mtc.ca.gov for more information and/or advocacy updates.
