The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is honoring thereby celebration of 35 years for the Bay Area Trails! The MTC is partnering with local Bay Area agencies to "Celebrate Trails Day" on Saturday, April 27, 2024 during commemorating activities. It's the annual nationwide celebration of America's historical trails, and MTC partnership agencies are encouraging people to celebrate by enjoying a day outside within thereby Bay Area trails. The parents can take their children on a family day activity along the Bay Area trails, and people can ride their bicycles, scooters, wheelchairs, etc. It can be a great family day to have fun on the outside during springtime, and learning more about our local trail environmental history.
