SAN FRANCISCO BICYCLE COALITION PROGRESSIVE EFFORTS

The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition had it's annual Golden Wheel Awards in San Francisco waterfront celebrating it's progressive efforts, trying to turn San Francisco Bay Area into a cycling paradise for people pedaling to work on a daily basis. Some of coalition's progressive work includes green lanes for bicycling operation along local roadways, bicycle routing pathway on the new bay bridge, and local regional bike share program locations within the bay area. Coalition members were really proud of their successful endeavors during their annual awards celebration, and congratulating each other with visionary measures for other bicycling environmental projects.

California legislatures will aim to overturn the level of services for environmental assessment, and San Francisco Assemblyman Phil Ting would author legislation to help with fuel emissions limitation to save our natural environment. "The cities can start building and protect the bike lanes - the better," said Dave Snyder, Executive Director of the Coalition.
