SAN FRANCISCO GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE RECONFIGURATION

The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California, will be reconfigured to ease traffic during commuting hours for San Francisco Bay Area commuters across the iconic bridge. The Golden Gate Bridge lanes were changed recently to have some traffic control on the bridge. The Golden Gate Bridge officials in partnership with Highway and Transportation District have agreed to reconfigure the bridge lanes in January 2016. The reconfiguration approach is because of increasing traffic for working class people and successful completion of Presidio Parkway Project. The district management team will continue to monitor traffic on the iconic bridge, and accessory roadways for safety and healthy measures for commuters across the bay area.
