SAN FRANCISCO MAYOR PROPOSAL FOR RIDE-SHARING CARS IN THE BAY AREA

The ride-sharing cars may become part of creating traffic congestion problems in San Francisco Bay Area. The San Francisco mayor is proposing to exchange data information between ride-sharing companies and The City, to assist with local traffic resolutions as necessary. Because ride-sharing cars are double parking in local neighborhood parking areas and business parking, as well as many cars driving on local roadways and highways without tracking data. The proposal pilot project is in early stages and hoping to align with Vision Zero 2024 to reduce traffic related accidents. The San Francisco mayor's office and administration don't have access and/or maintain any data showing Uber and Lyft cars daily trip routing information. The necessary data should show how and where ride-sharing cars are causing traffic collisions and creating traffic congestion on local city streets and highways.

"The current discussions are preliminary and details are still being worked on - it's early to comment at this time," said Paul Rose, SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) Spokesperson. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
