The Santa Cruz METRO (Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District) services agency in South Bay is stuffing their transit bus with food during the holiday season. The Santa Cruz METRO transit agency is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank, Santa Cruz County Chamber of Commerce, and thereby Woodstock's Pizza for therein food drive. The partnership food drive effort will happen on Thursday, December 5, 2024 between 1 PM and 7 PM. The food drive transit bus will park at Woodstock's Pizza location at 710 Front Street, Santa Cruz, California. The partnering agencies are encouraging passengers to donate non-perishable food items, and supporting families and children in need during the holiday season. The Santa Cruz County Chamber of Commerce is having a holiday event at Woodstock's Pizza between 5 PM to 7 PM, and people can donate food items there as well - visit www.scmtd.com for more information and/or food drive event updates.
