SFO DECLINING BART RIDERS IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The ridership for passengers using Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) transportation to San Francisco airport has declined. Many people shared concerns about health and safety issues on BART trains, and not including problems causing passengers to miss their departing flights. Ride-sharing companies have taken the opportunity at SFO (San Francisco International Airport) and BART ridership has dropped tremendously. The BART services to SFO ridership has dropped immensely and negatively impacting the agency operational budget with $3.6 million deficit. It negatively impacts 9.6% of the current operational budget for the year and also impacting other airport services as necessary.

"Every month we are continually amazed by the ride-sharing people and anyone saying they saw it coming is full of it," said Stephen Gordon, Business Manager, Oakland International Airport. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
