The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) services agency in North Bay is returning transit services on Sundays in the Bay Area. The SMART district agency board approved therein returning services to start on Sunday, May 1, 2022 and responding to more demanding services during weekends. The SMART agency schedules to add Sunday transit services can be more popular for local commuters, and offering more trips during weekends in North Bay. The transit agency schedules are adjusted to make better connections for commuting passengers in the Bay Area, and with other local transit agencies during work commuting hours. Including better connections for ferry commuting passengers at Larkspur Ferry Station, and offering more consistent transit services to make it easier.
