SMART TRAIN REPORTING ACTIVITIES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) services agency in North Bay released a report of activities by the General Manager. The SMART General Manager's report identifies hosting and/or completed Safety and Security trainings with various fire agencies in North Bay with train operations. The SMART upgraded UV lights sterilization system and installation on train cars as well as UV light disinfection systems. The maintenance crew continues to disinfect train cars during daily activities using electrostatic elements, and checking on hand sanitizers onboard train cars and replace them when necessary. The SMART Communication Control Unit was upgraded and continues to ensure appropriate training for internal staffing is happening with updated operational skills.
