The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) services agency in North Bay is offering free rides for youth effective Monday, April 1, 2024. The SolTrans transit routing service is reaching out to secure more youth riding public transit in local communities. The SolTrans agency free rides for youth ages 6-18 is a pilot program, and therein Youth Free Fare program will operate until June 2025. The pilot program offers free rides for youth on local routing services, and SolanoExpress routing services jurisdiction. The SolTrans program for youth provides equitable transit services for all communities in Solano County. The transit agency personnel staff will collect data and monitor thereby program, and submit a report to the SolTrans Board of Directors.
