Southwest Airline now providing service to the Hawaiian Islands starting on March 17, 2019 with a direct flight from Oakland to Honolulu.This will later include flights from Oakland to Kahului, Maui beginning on April 7, 2019. In addition the airline plans to inaugurate flights between Mineta San Jose International Airport beginning May 5, 2019.
