The Uber ride-sharing company adds more troubling situations in San Francisco Bay Area regarding software usage elements. The U.S. Department of Justice (USDOJ) is investigating Uber's software program, and how it's been used to benefit Uber's company for profits and jeopardizing the public safety. The Uber software program called "Greyball" is allegedly creating program elements to bypass law enforcement agencies and lawful regulations. The controversial software program was reported by New York Times and Uber admitted the usage of therein program. It appears that software program was developed to prevent certain law enforcement officers and/or legal agencies, to check on Uber drivers for public safety reasoning.
