VTA LAUNCHES NEW PROGRAM IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) services agency in South Bay is launching their new program to assist with transit services network improvement. The VTA transit agency Speed and Reliability Program is focusing on the following: transit signal priority, eliminating barriers to cashless payments, and operational capital improvement infrastructure. The Speed and Reliability Program at VTA will help them understand the community transit service needs, and passengers can provide VTA with prioritizing transit needs for improvement. Including improvement with therein VTA operational infrastructure, and supporting their networking system with transit services countywide. The VTA transit services agency will continue to work closely with local communities, and traveling passengers to have equitable services countywide.
