The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency is delaying to release Measure-B funding for transit improvement projects in the South Bay. The voters in Santa Clara County approved Measure-B funding for transit projects in 2016 and VTA can't release therein funding because of the unsettled lawsuit. The Santa Clara County residential citizens supported the Measure-B to have funding to fix local road repairs, Caltrain, and BART extension project. The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) extension project is progressively moving forward and measure funding of $1.5 billion is earmarked for Phase-II of the project. The unsettled lawsuit is withholding 2017 collected funding since April before releasing it for local transit improvement projects.
"VTA as transportation authority for the county is responsible to ensure transportation networking remains in good state repair, and spending time on this legal battle can move into more years," said Jeannie Bruins, VTA Board Chairperson. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
